The restaurant itself is an exceptional experience. The structure is amazing, above the sea, beautiful ambiance, totally unique.
The food was exceptional. We had the tuna tartare and the prawns for starters, the lobster and the surf & turf dish for mains and the chocolate mousse for desert. Everything was extremely tasty and very well presented.
However, my disappointment is related to the service. When we arrived at the hotel, Diamonds La Gemma dell’Est which is an A class hotel, they could not find our reservation at the entrance or even at the reception delaying our dinner for about half an hour. Then it took them some time to find a cart to take s to the restaurant. And finally, when we finished the dinner they could not find any carts to take us back to the reception so we had to walk all the way back because the hotel had “a big arrival”. It’s sad when this kind of details can downgrade a great dinner.
